Deliverables-Based IT Services
StackNexus has contracted with the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide deliverables-based IT services to state and local government agencies across Texas. Through this contract, eligible entities can engage us directly, without a separate competitive bid process.
About the Contract
StackNexus offers deliverables-based information technology services (DBITS) through Contract DIR-CPO-6221, issued by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). This contract is available to state agencies, local government entities, public education institutions, and other public entities in Texas, as well as qualifying entities outside the state.
The contract covers three technology categories: Application Development, Maintenance, and Modernization (Category 1); Business Intelligence, Data Management, and Analytics (Category 2); and Project and Program Management (Category 4). This contract is for services only. No hardware or software products may be purchased through this contract, and no resellers are available.
Technology Categories
StackNexus is awarded under three DIR technology categories. Below is a breakdown of each category and the services included.
Application Development, Maintenance & Support
This category covers the development of new applications as well as the ongoing support of existing systems. StackNexus works across web, mobile, server-based, and mainframe environments to build, maintain, and improve software throughout its lifecycle.

How to Place an Order
State agencies, local governments, public universities, K-12 districts, and other qualifying entities may engage StackNexus through the following DIR ordering process.

Prepare a Statement of Work (SOW)
Complete an SOW that includes scope of work, deliverables, compliance requirements (accessibility, security, privacy), and pricing. State agencies with award values over $50,000 must submit the SOW to DIR for review and approval before soliciting vendors, per Texas Government Code Section 2157.0685.
Negotiate and Finalize
Customers and StackNexus may work together to refine the SOW. Pricing and terms may be negotiated directly, provided they do not conflict with the master contract.
Issue a Purchase Order
Generate a purchase order payable to STACKNEXUS INC and reference contract number DIR-CPO-6221 on the PO. Work begins upon receipt.
